Kathleen Kendrick, RN, MBA – Chief Nursing Officer
Kendrick brings 27 years of nursing experience to Auburn Memorial Hospital (AMH) and her career full circle as the Chief Nursing Officer at AMH. She has progressive clinical, quality assurance, policy development and leadership experience in acute care settings and leads by example with high energy and enthusiasm.
The majority of her professional experience was spent at a Syracuse-based hospital where she rose through the ranks. She began as a senior staff nurse in the ICU and progressed through positions as Assistant Nurse Manager – Telemetry Unit; Nurse Manager – Telemetry Unit; Interim Nurse Manager for skilled nursing facility; Nurse Manager – Telemetry and Orthopedic Units; Director of Acute Care and as Interim CNO/Vice President of Nursing.
As the Interim CNO/Vice President of Nursing she was responsible for the oversight of a 475 person division; a member of the senior leadership team and strategic planning group; member of the hospital’s Executive Council Board that reviewed area statistics regarding community health projects.
She has a master’s degree in Business Administration from LeMoyne College, Syracuse, NY and a B.S.P.A. with a concentration in Business Administration from St. Joseph’s College, North Windham, ME. Kendrick earned her nursing degree from Crouse-Irving Memorial Hospital School of Nursing, Syracuse, NY.
Kendrick began her health care career at AMH as a staff nurse in the CCU.
