Executive Committee

Sydney Pringle, Vice President Human Resource

Sydney Pringle brings 13 years of Human Resources management experience to AMH with the last 10 concentrating on health care organizations.  He is a expert in ensuring organizations operate in compliance with DOL, OSHA, ADA, FMLA, FLSA, COBRA, ERISA and EEOC; labor relations and employee contract interpretation and benefits administration.

After spending three years as the Human Resources Director for a transportation company with 130 employees at 15 sites in six states he spent five years as the Director of Human Resources for the Jewish Health and Rehabilitation Center where he directed the daily operations of the Human Resources Department that oversaw personnel needs of four separate corporations and 300 people.

His leadership brought the organization three grants: Two from New York State Department of Labor Hazardous Abatement Board and one from the United Way.  The $48,000 in grants was used for management skills training.  His leadership also produced a drop in employee turnover rates.

Prior to coming to AMH, Pringle was the Director of Human Resources for Mercy Health and Rehabilitation Center.  There he oversaw the department’s operations for a corporation with 300 employees.

By implementing a Transitional Work Program he saved the organization more the $100,000 in worker’s compensation insurance.  He also, once again, brought a drop in employee turnover to the organization.

He has a bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management from the State University of New York at Oswego.  He is a member of the Society of Human Resources Management.
