Volunteer Opportunities
Auburn Memorial Hospital’s volunteers come from all corners of our community, and their reasons for volunteering are just as diverse. Some are interested in knowing more about the medical field, acquiring new skills, developing new interests or friendships, staying active and involved, experiencing the satisfaction of helping others, or learning about our local health care facilities.
Our volunteers serve in many different departments at AMH. Duties may include assisting nursing staff with patients, answering questions for visitors, assisting with clerical work, transporting patients for discharge or testing, running errands for all hospital departments, assisting with resident activities at our nursing home or helping out in the hospital gift shop.
Auburn Memorial Hospital also offers a Junior Volunteer Program.
Volunteers at Auburn Memorial Hospital help support the hospital mission: “To provide compassionate quality care to all patients.”
