Dr. Loren Van Riper, OB/GYN Specialist, Joins Auburn Memorial Hospital
Auburn Memorial Hospital is pleased to announce that. Loren G. Van Riper, M.D. has joined the hospital’s Obstetrics/Gynecology Department.
Dr. Van Riper is certified by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology. He did his undergraduate studies at Drake University, received his M.D. at the University of Minnesota and completed a Residency at the Mayo Graduate School of Medicine. He was Chief Resident Associate at the Mayo Graduate School of Medicine in 1992/1993 and was awarded the prestigious Elizabeth Ann Harris Award in clinical research in 1993. He formerly practiced at St. Joseph Maternal Child Health Center in Syracuse, NY. and was previously a member of the AMH Medical Staff in 2003/2004.
Rosalyn McCormick, Vice President for Patient Care Services, stated: “Dr. Van Riper has demonstrated clinical excellence throughout his career. We are delighted to welcome Dr. Van Riper. His joining the Medical Staff is in line with an important AMH operational goal: To develop a comprehensive women and maternal health center of excellence at the hospital.”
