Auburn Memorial Hospital Hires New Director of Patient Accounts
Auburn Memorial Hospital (AMH) recently hired Rose McCort as its new Director of Patient Accounts. In her new position, McCort will be responsible for organizing, directing, coordinating and evaluating the timely billing and collection of patient accounts. She will work in conjunction with Medical Records, Case Management, Information Systems and any other necessary departments in order to facilitate the billing and collections process.
Prior to joining the AMH staff, McCort was the Business Office Manager for the Mi Casa Nursing Center in Mesa, Arizona. While there she was responsible for overseeing all business office functions, including billing, collecting, and payment posting for all accounts receivable for the 180 bed facility.
"Rose brings a wealth of experience to the hospital,” said John Baran, Chief Financial Officer. "Her role is extremely important to the financial health of the hospital and we’re very lucky to have her on board.”
